Tell us what you are working on.

A fund raising against a date, an allocation program under a constraint, a firm testing whether it is built to do what it says. Every route below reaches one inbox and is routed on our side.

Work with Colibrí Strategies

Four ways firms and institutions work with us.

Each one runs on the same framework and the same operating principles: non-discretionary, no placement, no success fees, and every decision stays with the client.

Mode 01

Platform access

Blueprint for managers preparing to raise, Architecture for firms testing how they are built. Both open with a free tier, and neither needs a conversation with us first.

Ask about the platforms

Mode 02

Advisory engagement

A defined stack of modules against one objective: a first close, a screen redesign, a construction rebuild, a committee decision that has to hold. The first conversation is a diagnostic, and it is free.

Describe the engagement

Mode 03

Program and cohort partnerships

Mandated programs, funds of funds, accelerators, and networks putting a whole cohort of managers through readiness at once, on platform licenses or a shared engagement.

Discuss a cohort

Mode 04

Speaking, teaching and workshops

Sessions for allocator networks, GP cohorts, conferences, and university programs, built on the published research rather than on a pitch.

Before you write

Four lines get you a useful reply instead of a calendar link.

We answer with a view rather than a discovery call, which means the first message does more work than it usually would.

The firm

Who you are and which side of the table you sit on. Manager, allocator, program, or platform user.

The vehicle

The fund, the mandate, or the allocation program, and roughly where it is in its life.

The date

The close, the committee meeting, the annual review, or the deadline you are working toward. It determines the sequence more than anything else.

The decision

The one question in front of you. If you already know it, say it. If you do not, that is what the diagnostic is for.

Start here

The first conversation is a diagnostic, and it is free.

It ends in a written statement of where the binding constraint actually sits, which is often not where the firm thought it was. Many people take that and go no further, which is a fine outcome.

One inbox

Platform questions, advisory inquiries, cohort partnerships, and speaking all reach us at the same address.
